does anyone know how to make a icon? for like iconator or something?

This is how to make an icon :
Okay, first thing you need to do is go to jasc.com and download animation shop 3. this download says it will work for 30 days, but it worked for me for 60. I now own the program because i got it really cheap from e-bay. I also own paint shop pro 7, which i use to make all my backgrounds.
Once you've downloaded that and have it installed, open the program. You'll probably be able to recognize the various buttons from programs like microsoft word and paint. Click "File" and then "new". A bow should come up that is titled "create new animation". For both the width and height type in 48. If it is not already selected, click the circle next to the word "transparent." and then hit OK.
On one of the tool bars at the top there should be a button that looks like a paint can that is being spilled, just as in the program Paint. This is the flood fill button. Click on it. Now look at the right hand side of your screen. There should be a rectangular section that looks like a rainbow. This is your color chooser thingy mabobber. As you move the mouse aroun don that section, the color that your mouse is on will show up in another rectangle that is slightly below. Click on whatever color you want and then click on the 1st slide (it should have a gray and white checker pattern on it) The slide should turn the color you chose.
Now for the text. Click on another color that you want, but make sure it is a color that will show up against your background. Now click on the capital A that is on the toolbar at the top, right next to the flood fill button. Then click on the slide anywhere, it doesn't matter where. A box will come up where you can choose your font name, style, and size. Choose whatever you want, but make sure it is a font that you can read. Type in the text you want in the box on the bottom and once you are ready click OK. (Note: If a warning comes up that says "The text entered will not fit on the animation" then your text is too long. You will have to shorten the amount and put it on two lines later. Click OK and then start over) Now your mouse will automatically move to the middle of your slide. click when the text it in a position that you like. COngratulations! You have just made an icon. Simple as it may be, it still is one. Click "file" and then "save" to save it on your computer. You can submit these to iconator, but don't count on it getting through the mods because I know a lot of mods who will vote against anything that doesn't have animation.
