I have this friend that is really attached what should I do?

I have this friend who is like really attached...and its like when I tell her I can't do something with her she gets all sad...and she always asks me to do stuff with her on the weekend and sometimes I want to do stuff with other people but its like I have to keep it a secret from her or she gets all depressed...and then at school its like if I don't say hi to her, or sit by her, she gets like all mad and its drives me crazy..but she is so nice and is my best friend she jsut I don't know..but she has really been getting on my nerves lately...what shoudl I do

maybe you should tell her...like tell her that you already have plans with people if you do...Like maybe she thinks that since you guys don't do anything together she thinks that you need to since your best friends...maybe she just thinks your friends and she wants to be best friends to her mind
