RPG for PS2
I am looking for a good RPG for PS2 and can't seem to find one. Its like all the other good RPGs are for the Xbox. I don't want Final Fantasy. What I am looking for in my game is for it to have your basic attack and magic. Also there has to be ALOT of replay value and I can play this game over and over without getting bored.

Not real big on PS2 RPGs. Bad selection. But, you can pick up lots of good PS1 RPGs to play on your PS2. I suggest Breath of Fire III, Xenogears, Suikoden (I or II), Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (kind of an RPG, anyway), and Thousand Arms. However, most of these games are fairly rare, and may be hard to find. When you find them, they might also be above your price range.

I'm in the same position, I like RPGs and have a PS2.
A couple of games I have really enjoyed are, Gauntlet Dark Legacy:

It's an older game, and it's not exactly an RPG, but it's RPG-ish. Lots of hack & slash, fighting monsters and leveling up, and you can choose to be a fighter or an archer, etc... You can also play multiplayer with this game. I like it.
The other is the Dark Cloud series, 1 and 2:

They are very fun, with lots of interesting things to do and mini-games within the game.
