Okay I'm 15 from Chicago Illinois
Okay so after one of my dances the guy I was going with and me had sex. Unprotected. I know it was stupid. But we obviously weren't thinking at the time. Now I am pregnant. My mom doesn't really care because she had me when she was 16. My dad doesn't really have an opinoin either. I was thinking at first about having an abortion but then I thought that's crazy. How could I kill a child! The only problem is that a kid would ruin my life. I'm still in school and I LOVE to party. So I'm obviously going through with the pregnancy. But afterwards I'm not sure what to do. Do I keep the kid, do I put it up for adoption, give it to my parents to take care of until I'm done with schooling. I was just wondering if you had any opionions. Yah know pros and cons..

Since you most likely aren't ready for the responsiblity of taking care of a child yet I think you should consider an option where you won't have to be the care taker.
If you put it up for adoption.
Pros...
-financial aid would be taken care of
-the child could have a secure home
Cons...
-won't be able to see the baby grow
-won't know how the child is doing while it is growing up
I don't recommend you giving the child to your parents to take care of because if they don't really care about you getting pregnant then that makes me wonder how good of parents they would be to the child.
Pros...
-you could finish school
-finish your future plans
-won't have as much of a responsibility as if you were to take care of the child
Cons...
-they may not care that much
-you would still have a responsibility for the child since you all would be living in the same house.
