Hair, yuck.

Question Posted Monday March 13 2006, 9:53 am

I have super thick, chesnut colored brown hair. I love when it's straight, it looks great, hah, but it's very time consuming. For the most part (during the school week) I'll wake up and just scrunch it, because there's no time to straighten it. (Occasionally I'll straighten it at night) But, the problem is, when I scrunch my hair in the morning I like how it looks. During the day, my hair starts to dry, and whenever it's fully dry the scrunch effect isn't the same, I mean my hair looks gross. I end up putting it up everyday after it's dry. Is there any way I can maybe keep my hair a little wet the whole day, or someway it can look like it is? Thank you.

I don't know too much about how to keep your hair wet all dayb but i'm sure the other people had some good advice on that. I just wanted to say that if you want a good straightener you should get a gold plated one if you already dont have one. I had a silver plated straightener & it took about 2 hours to straighten my hair with it and it wouldn't even do it that well. But i also LOVE my hair when it is straight, so I got a gold plated straightener & it works amazingly & is super fast. You can also go to your local hair place to ask them about this. (What they recommend)
Well-good luck, i hope i helped

theres a product you can find in pretty much any store like CVS that keeps your hair looking wet, if that doesnt work just try using mousse

Use hair spray wen ur scrunchin or straigtning. Then during the day use a moisturizer to keep like shiny n not make it all dried out.

BEst of luck,
JJ

Simple, just keep a water spray in your bag! Its hard to find these in shops, so its best to fill up an empty spray bottle with water, take it to school and, whenever you have time quickly spray it.
