Am I being nice?

Question Posted Saturday March 11 2006, 10:51 pm

Okay my aunt is coming over for Spring Break. She is repeatedly calling me "little honey baby" and "aquirt". She still thinks I am a baby! I am actually 14. I asked her stop, but she just laughed at me....I even asked my parents but they said that it was my aunt and that I should be nice. What should I do?

Hm...obviously your aunt has no consideration for you. I suggest calmly talking to your aunt and expressing your age and how it is NOT normal to be called a baby. Also explain that you are still her niece/nephew. But you should not be treated LIKE a baby or be referred to that. Also consult your parents about the same issue. it is important to give your opinion now that you are growing up!
