For school i have to write a diary entry for one of the characters.
my task says :
Choose what you think is a turning point in the play. Write a diary entry for one of the characters who are part of this scene. Make sure you include all the details of what happened. Remember that people add their thoughts and feelings to the events they write in their diaries.
ive thought of a few turning points but dont know what to write and which character to use..
Eg.
- When Romeo gets sent to Mantua and Friar Lawerence cant get the letter to him in time to tell him of Juliets 'death'.
- The very end of the play when the Capulets and Montagues realise what there on going fued has caused, the death of there children and other relations and settle there differences.
- When Romeo meets Juliet and all his thoughts for Rosaline are binned.
can any one think of any other turning points? and what i could write? a few bullet points would help me sooo much and i will love you all forever :)
Can any one help me?? FIVES ALL ROUND :)

Tan answered Thursday March 9 2006, 11:17 am: hey, i just did romeo n juliet in english. I think you should use the last one as its pretty straight forward. if you choose this one then its probably best to be either romeo or juliet... lol. If you choose romeo, mention his infatuation with her. He worships her. Use lines from the play that he says when he first sees her. Then at the end, write about how he feels finding out shes a capulet and about his determination not to give up. If you choose juliet... well... its pretty much the same really, apart from shes not as outspoken in her feelings so its probs better to do romeo. Hope i helped, best of luck xxxx [ Tan's advice column | Ask Tan A Question ]
