On March 20th I am moving all the way across the country to Arizona! I am excited because i love meeting new people and i really want to start over with everything. Alot of my friends are mad that I'm moving but I just want to be happy and they just cant except it. They also find the whole thing as a joke and laugh and talk about it all the time. My friend (call her c) thought it would be funny and make a calender in her locker with a countdown till I move! It pisses me off so much, and my best friend laughs along and everything. So last weekend was my friend C`s birthday and she invited some of her friends to hang out and knew i was trying to hint to her that I wanted to hang out and she knew then I only had 3 weeks left to hang out with my best friend and she didnt end up inviting me and took my best firend all weekend. Am i being selfish just asking to hang out with my best friend before I move? It hurts me alot because my best friend doesnt seem to care or even bother her im moving. =/ What I wanted to ask was what should i say to my best friend and other friend? Sorry it`s so long.. thanks <3

Teza answered Saturday March 11 2006, 4:23 pm: They're doing this because they can't and won't accept the fact that you're moving. They are upset and just don't want to show that infrot of you. You're not beaing selfish for wanting to be with your best friend at all. They are the ones that are beaing unfair and talk to them as soon as possible. Get both of them together or invite them over and just hang out. Tell them exactly what you told me and how you're going to miss them and it's not fair how they've been treating you. I'm sure you guys will be friends after you move, but just spend the time you have with them and make it fun. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
