i have just reboted my computer and when i plugged my ipod to it the little arrow at the bottom right hand corner did not show up... so i can not even safly remove hardware what do i do to get that arro back so i can transfer my music back on to my computer from my ipod?

go to start>control panel>add hardware. The wizard should find it. You can remove things without using the "safely remove hardware" thing
