okay well last summer i met this kid matt from my friend. we talk all the time. hes 16 im 14. i think i like him but like i dont think i would ever have a chance with him because he like just seems like too mature for me or something but i really want a chance with him.. i dont know what to do tho. i dont really talk to him about like this kinda stuff and like i wouldnt even know what to say to him because the stuff we usually talk about is like fun stuff.. i dont want to like just randomly come out and tell him i like him so i need a way to just like slowly start telling him and ideas what to say.. oh boy i really do like him a lot =\

hey! well if you really like this guy, then maybe just start flirting. that should get the message to him that maybe you could have a chance to be more than friends. however if you see that he doesnt like it when you flirt, then maybe you should lay off and just be friends for a while more. things might change once you get older and more mature, and then you might as well feel more comfortable around him b/c you'd feel more mature and at his level. xoxo helpachick

Well, if you start by asking if he has a girlfriend or a crush on anyone, might bring you to the point where he asks you in return, you say you do have a crush on someone who (and then list the things he likes or anything you've talked about) he'll then secretly think it's him, but won't mention it and keep asking questions about it, then he may say my crush is (whatever you like) and that's how you know if you like each other or not! Works all the time for me!
