Hey! So I have windows media player and it's supposed to be compatible with it but i cant add it to the places where i can store music. i have it plugged in to the usb port on my laptop but it doesnt pick up. any more info?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I think I have an idea of how to help you. Try right clicking on the music file that you want to play and if it has an option "add to now playing list" click on that. If not it should have an "open with" option and you can choose the media player. If that doesn't work, open up the media player and go to "tools" then click on "options". Click the "player" tab on the top and make sure the "add music files to library" box is checked as well as the one right below it that says something about removable media. Now click on the "file types" tab and make sure that all of those boxes are checked. They don't all need to be, but it makes it easier. I hope that I helped and that it starts working for you.
