Why is it good that the brain is insensitive to pain? any good answer gets a 5 please help me!

Because we think constantly. If our brain could feel the pain of our thoughts, we would be screaming in agony forever. Also, it would waste a lot of anesthetic since neurosurgeons would have to put people to sleep every time they did brain surgery. Also, I don't think the brain would be able to handle the rest of the body if it was too busy trying to comfort itself.
