Hi, I'm a 13 year old girl. I have a best friend named Dylan. We have been close for three years. I like him alot, but he doesn't feel the same way. I am really miserable and depressed, but I want him to be happy. What should I do? Should I move on and stay friends?

You guys are already close so if you guys stay friends your friendship will grow stronger and closer. One day he might have feelings for you, but right now he doesn't so you just gotta move on. There are plenty of other guys out there so dont worry there is one out there for you. Let your best friend know that you care a lot about him and that you'll always be there. If he's happy you should be happy too. Well hope this helps!

Were still bestfreinds though. I think that its better to stay friends, it hurts alot, i know but your feelings will fade, you will proboly always have a thing for him but it wont be as strong. When your older and still best friends, that would be the better time to go out and tell him how you feel. Because when your older, your both more mature and it will last longer. Just remember that its hard to go back to friends after dating, so be careful. Hopefully if your great friends, you will stay freinds even afer all this. Good luck! and im sorry that it has to be this way, friends make the best boyfriends but its hard to stay friends if it ends. [ greeneyedgirl9o's advice column | Ask greeneyedgirl9o A Question ]
