My question is about my teacher giving me too much homework.
Question Posted Monday January 30 2006, 8:44 pm
My teacher is giving me and my class WAY too much homework and I think it is really un nessary. She is giving us 7-11 pages of homework per night! All of the pages have really hard questions on them and with all of the things that need to be done I would say that this is too much homework. She is really strict also. One time she sent some boy in my class down to the office just because he wanted to go to the bathroom while she was reading! How should I tell her that she is giving way too much homework?

One thing you would have to take into consideration is, what class is it? What I mean by that, is it one that is suppose to try to prepare you for high school or college? Another thing would be, how much material is to be covered in the time you have left for school. It might be hard but for some reason she believes you should be doing that much work. As for how strick she is with that last thing? That no one can really help you with, if it actually is like that maybe you could get a group of students together and share those thoughts with your parents and have them bring it up to the teacher. This is all I have for you, sorry if it doesn't help too much. [ trlblzr4u's advice column | Ask trlblzr4u A Question ]
