I changed my mind.

Question Posted Friday January 27 2006, 4:40 pm

A few months ago, this really sweet kid told me that he liked me. I sort of liked him back, but I thought I liked this other kid even more, and so I told him I didn't like him in that way. He took it really well, just said ok, and then we didn't speak too much any more, because it was pretty awkward. Since then, I have given up on that other guy. Now, I know for certain that I definitely like this other guy, and I don't know whether it would be inappropriate for me to tell him that after I had already told him no. Should I tell him?

Additional info, added Friday January 27 2006, 5:23 pm:
I forgot to say that since then, me and the guy I currently like (the one I rejected earlier) jave been getting along really well nowadays, and we even have sort of petnames for each other. I just don't know whether or not I should tell him.
Thank you!

I think that if you are really goods friends with him, then you should talk to him about it. If you do tell him its always a 50/50 chance that he still likes you too. As long as you talk to him in person he will understand. If hes a really good guy and you know that you would go out with him for a long time and you truly like him then go for it.
