website history gone crazy!

i was just typing in advicenators and you no how like theres a history of sites you visited and so if your typing in www.a it will show up www.advicenators.com. so i was typing www and i saw bunches of porn sites like www1._____.com and www2._____.com and all that crap! and then i was going to www.b and it shows up the b word .com. i never went to those and its really weird! i swear i never went there but it is there and no one in my family or friends nos my password. please tell me whats going on!!! thx.

Sounds like spyware. Get spy bot and Adaware and clear that stuff out. Also you can go to tool>internetoptions>clearhistory Then do tools>internetoptions>settings for temp files>select all>delete

Just helping out in a different way here because I am not real computer savvy.

Maybe what someone needs to answer for you is this....

First add if anyone else uses the computer besides yourself. Using their own password.

Then maybe someone knows for sure if the history drop down boxes contain history of everyone using Google (or whatever search engine) on your computer, OR if it just keeps your personal history under your password.

My guess is the history includes anyone with access to your computer. But I don't know for sure.
