Ok well I am 15/f and I am "friends" with my neighbors. Ok, their are these two stepsisters and they are really cool to hang out with considering they are 13 and 14. Also, their is another girl that is 14 that is really cool too. Well, us four are like really good friends...over the summer. But it's like once school starts...I don't even exsist! Those three go to school together and the two 14 year olds are like always together!! I don't want to sound jealous, but I have to admit sometimes I am. It's like I want to be friends, and hang out with them all the time...not just the summer. Sometimes it feels like they just use me for my pool. Cause I have this inground pool outside, and it's goes about 10 feet I think, and like this past summer it seemed like at the beginning everything was good and normal. Then we stopped talking, but everytime they wanted to swim...they would. Two summers ago it was just me and the two stepsisters and it was awesome. We told each other everything, and were together EVERDAY. This past summer...things just seemed to changed with the new 14 year old cause she moved in the neighborhood. It was cool at first and she just became one of us but then things changed. Two summers ago..when school let back in I noticed the change and I even talked to the other two girls about how I was feeling...I guess things just changed between us after that. It's like I kno they all three go to school together...but WHAT ABOUT ME?? So, are they really my friends? Or are they really just using me for my pool? HELP ME! I WILL RATE!

Gabriel answered Tuesday January 24 2006, 12:28 am: Friendships, especially in school, can be very fickle. One minute you're the coolest thing around, the next some new kid is king (or queen) of the world. If you feel their ever-shifting friendship is worth keeping then try once more to explain how you feel. If not, or if they decide they don't want to be your friend then make some new friends. There's loads of people out there who are willing to be your friend and stick with you no mater what. All you have to do is get out there and find them. Then you can share your pool with them!
