1. Trim your ends. Cutting split ends will keep your hair healthy, so it can grow and won't break off. Have a half inch snipped every 3 months.
2. Don't use the thin elastics. They make your hair break. Use the cotton terry hair elastics.
3. Before styling with heat (curling irons, straightening irons, etc.), use a product that will protect your ends.
4. Wait 4 to 6 weeks between colourings.
5. Take a mulitivitamin daily to ensure your hair receives all nutrients it needs to grow.
