Losing muscle

Question Posted Monday January 23 2006, 10:15 am

Hello, I'm starting to work out not because I think I'm fat, but because I would like to stay in shape.

Anyway I have extremely muscular legs, especially my calves. Since they are muscular it makes my legs look fat.

Is there anything that I can do to lose some muscle in my legs and not make them that bulky?

Thank you for any help.

Why would you want to do that? I guarantee you dont train anywhere near hard enough to produce any real growth in your legs and that you're not a competitive bodybuilder who actually may have enough muscle on a body part to make something else look uneven from this question... so my advice- Blast your legs. Why would you want to lose muscle in the 1st place? Come on get real and Get Serious, train like you really want to achieve something and dont pick and choose- Just do it.

If you're working out with weights I would recommend less weight and higher repetitions. This is more suited for toning than building muscle and could help you in your quest for slimmer legs.
