See i like this guy but he thinks we should just be friends.because we have known each other sence 3rd grade.and he likes me and i like him. what should i do?

Well, you've known him since third grade, which means you are both going to know alot about each other and are probably extremely good friends.

If you both like each other, then what is holding you back? And you both are gonna know each other pretty well. So my advice is go with what your heart says you should do and if that leaves you going out with this guy, then great. And if it does leave you going out with him, ease into your relationship, be just like you were as friends and slowly get into that whole boyfriend/girlfriend kind of thing, you know?

Talk it over with him and decide where you should let your feelings go from where you are now.
