Question Posted Saturday January 21 2006, 2:57 pm

My friend is always calling me and I don't know what to do. She' sa realy great friend but now I just want my personal space. I realy do value our friendship but I want to hang out with other people too. It realy is too hard to tell her. I have tried so many times but I don't want to hurt her feelings. I also don't want to tell her on the phone or online because that would be worse than not telling her at all. I don't know what to tell her but I want her to leave me alone. How can I break it to her without making it seem like I hate her or that I am being a bitch?

You should tell her that you realy want like being friends with her. But tell her that you want to spend time with your other frinds. Don't just blow her off. Also don't make up lies so you don't have to hang out with her. Tell her in person so you can make sure everything you say is said how you want it to be said. Tone is everything.
