Question Posted Wednesday January 18 2006, 7:20 pm
i have a bump under my nose ring (or nose stud, i should say.)
i heard salt water would take care of it, but it hasn't done a thing for me
what can i do?
jesa21 answered Thursday January 19 2006, 11:11 am: the stuff you want is h2 ocean for body piercing. alot of tattoo and piercing places carry it in a spray can. you can also find it for sale online. its not table salt and water that clears it up, its sea salt. which is what the h2 ocean is. youll just want the piercing version of it, not the tattoo version. i know the stuff works because i had an infection in my eyebrow peircing that got so bad the infection had actually created another hole near the peircing to exit. i got h2 ocean an sprayed it on 4 times a day and quit touching it with my fingers and it started clearing up later in the 1st day. good luck [ jesa21's advice column | Ask jesa21 A Question ]

Me and my older sis just got our noses pierced about 3 months ago. I just had a bump inside of my nose right by my nose screw, but now it's gone. My older sis had a bump on the outside of her nose. What we did was just wash the piercing everyday with soap and water and dried it off after. Then we put some type of cream on it that we have, but I don't remember the name of it. After doing that for a while, the bump should go away. We called the lady who did our piercings for us and she told us that getting a bump on/in your nose after getting it pierced is completely normal. It should go away after cleaning it a while. If not, you might want to call the person who pierced it for you. I hope I helped you out hun! If not I'm really sorry. Please let me know if I helped. Luv ya! I hope the bump goes away soon. If you need anything else, just leave one in my inbox. <3 KiMmY [ PrEtTyKiTtY0428's advice column | Ask PrEtTyKiTtY0428 A Question ]
