Ok. well I am in 7th grade, and a lot of people say they are "dating", like when they just ask the person out. And it bugs me cause' number 1, they never talk, and number 2, they NEVER go on dates. Errr.. its just soo annoying when their like "I have a girlfriend, and I have a boyfriend." It just seems like they have no idea what they are doing! Is that really going out??

I know how you feel. It bothers me too. Dating is more serious and actually going on dates. Going out is just saying you have a girl friend/boy friend and going to a couple of places or so. Most teens don't know what they're doing. Some just like the idea of "dating" and they want to sound serious and mature. It is annoying though.
