I looked for wattage crap but I couldn't find anything on it. BUT to save power, you could simply close the laptop, putting it on standby mode, thus saving energy. That also charges the battery so you could have it unplugged for 3 hours or so. It shouldn't cost more than $5.00 a month. CAUSE IF IT DOES *shake fist violently*
