unnecesary food

im 15/f. i weigh about 118 or 119. im trying to lose 10 pounds! (dont tell me i dont need to, i live by the beach i really do.) anyways, i do really well with the exercising part, but when it comes to eating i cant help but eating even when im not hungry. i wont be hungry or anything and ill just go get a snack, and its not good! how do i stop myself from doing this? thanks.

Try removing yourself from the kitchen and gettting as far from it as possible. If you must eat, eat healthy foods like fruit and vegetables. Also keep yourself busy so you dont have to find somthing to do(eat). you can also try extra hard in gym and eat slower, it really works, it helps you to eat less and i lost like 5 lbs over christmas break not eating fast to keep my weight down over the break.

The best way of getting away from unnecessary food is to keep yourself busy. If you're not busy, then you think about food. Also, dont sit and watch tv. Trust me on this one. All of those commercials of restaurants and such, they get you thinking about food even if you dont realize it.

see if your parents will get you those baby locks for cabinets.. i know it sounds dumb but it will accually make you think before you get the food and give you time to decide if you want it. also have your parents buy things that you can snack on that wont make you gain like any weight.. like veggies and if you do drink pop now stop.. i was at the doctor today and she said woman gain an average of 17 pounds a year drinking 1 can of pop a day
