Question Posted Thursday December 29 2005, 1:21 pm
i'm 18 and my ex-boyfriend, who's 19, just came home from the marines. it turns out some of his mail didn't get sent and he had said he wanted to get back together in like the first letter. i don't know what to do because after a summer of being depressed, when i started school, i met someone else and he's well, amazing. it's just that my ex-boyfriend and i were going out for almost 3 years and i still love him but he's just going to leave for the marines again soon. i'm so confused about what to do bc the new guy is so sweet, caring, and understanding, but my ex is just amazing and i know i still love him.
if he's just going to leave again, what should i do?
ps sorry if that was really long.

The thing that might be the best thing to do is stay good friends with your ex-boyfriend and stay with your current boyfriend becuase when your ex leaves again, you`ll probably go through a hard time for the second time. While if you just stay friends you won`t be going through any hardships. You have ovibously moved on and found an amazing boyfriend so I don`t think you should risk all that and have to go through another heartbreak. Good luck though, babe.
