also buy party hats, balloons, sparkling cider = ) anything fun to party!! have a dance party, gossip, play games, eat lots and lots of food and candy, take pictures, play twister, see who can stay up the longest, play truth or dare, play poker, watch the ball drop on tv, tell eachother your new years resolutions, kareoke, just basically party.

Me and my friends have a bonfire, invite boys and let them do fireworks, for some reason guys really like setting stuff on fire. Then we take a ride on a trailer down some roads around us. I suppose you don't have a trailer ready on hand though so, maybe bonfire, even with out guys its really fun, make smores, talk, do fireworks. I don't know, that sounds fun to me.
