I'm supposed to get my period around the 28th. I'm going to see my family for Christmas and we're going to an indoor water park near that day. What if my period starts when I'm AT the waterpark? I can't put a tampon in without actually bleeding, right? So what do I do about this?!
Karen answered Monday December 19 2005, 3:42 pm: Carry one along with you so that if you do start while you're at the water park, you can put it in. You don't bleed that much when you're in water so I wouldn't worry about this that much. You shouldn't wear a tampon when you're not bleeding, as someone mentioned the opposite below. hco_babe answered Monday December 19 2005, 2:45 pm: have one with you. carry a few in a purse or handy in the car or something. (i think they have them at the waterparks bathrooms usually too) but you wont get it in the water. so everytime you get out just go to the bathroom and make sure you're alright and you havent gotten it. KaTiE_LyNn answered Sunday December 18 2005, 11:55 pm: well if you're at a water park you don't want to have to keep going to the bathroom every so often. it'll be a pain in the butt, trust me. it wouldn't be bad to put in a tampon right before you went. if you don't start it might hurt to take out. but trust me it won't hurt TOO bad. and i would much rather deal with the pain than have a leak in front of everyone. WHOAitsSAMMM answered Sunday December 18 2005, 10:21 pm: Most likely you wont start three days early but there is the chance you might. So just carry around with you a tampon OR until you actually go in the water wear a pad. If you start it while your in the water no one would notice anyway because that has happened to me before, it just washes away, then you run out get a towel and your tampon and go to the bathroom lol.

fabulous11 answered Sunday December 18 2005, 10:14 pm: well when it starts it not really bad so it wont be that much so nobody will really notice and water stops oe atleast slows down your period so just check every so often and you should be fine. naimee answered Sunday December 18 2005, 10:13 pm: Carry a tampon around with you, just in case you start. Then if you do potentially start @ the water park you can put it in. But when you're IN the water - you don't bleed. So, just try and stay in the possible as long as you can. Hehe =) [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
LadyGoodman answered Sunday December 18 2005, 9:56 pm: If you're really so terribly worried about it, you could put one in, but then if you didn't start it, it would be a bitch to take out. I think I've started my period while swimming before and no one would have noticed. Just check regularly that day to see if you've started, because it would be no fun to not go swimming because of it. [ LadyGoodman's advice column | Ask LadyGoodman A Question ]
