Malcolm X (1925-1965), who was later known also by the religious name El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, was an African American activist. His militant views that Western nations were inherently racist and that black people must join together to build their own society and value system had an important influence on black nationalist and black separatist movements of the 1950s and 1960s.

even though your obviously white, everyone from third grade up knows who malcolm x is, and even though im white too i find that offensive to my homies( lol i know that im not cool yall! ) and im not trying to be mean or anything, but broadening your knowledge of history and the world is very important, read a book once in a while

he was a black rights activists who died from white prison men beating him. He had a great view and was an inspiration to all black who came after him. The reason why the black family was mad was because he was a hero in their opinion and the white mother disregarded their feelings. And even if she did know who he was, he probably would have said he was an idiot who deserved to die. everyone has different views on malcom x.
