that is bad in some cases and good in others.
for example if you are playing a sport and they are open then they will get clogged and make you breakout.

If your pores are open its both good&bad. Bad because more dirt can come in, good because if your pores are open you can squeeze em out and get rid of black heads.

Its a bad thing.. There is cleansers for it.. If they aren`t clean it can cause black or white heads.. Keep your face clean! ♥ Dez

Your face is prone to become dirtier when your pores are open, which is not good. When you are cleansing your face with a facial wash, it will be easier to clean your face if your pores are open. Applying cold water to your face will help tighten and close your pores.
