 I like this boy, but not only is he black and me white that my parents will not approve if they find out and he and i have been friends a long time, since first grade actually, and hes always flirting with me. What i'm really asking is can you help me decide if it is okay, becausei might ask him out.

Just because your friend is a different race than you, it shouldn't affect your feelings towards him. If you like him, ask him out. Your parents may not approve of your relationship but honestly, you shouldn't worry.
