When you purchase an iPod, you'll get a disc to install iTunes as well, seeing as how you need iTunes to convert all your songs to put them on the iPod. Whether you have an iPod or not, all songs on iTunes are 99 cents. So you'll be paying a dollar for every song. This is lame and not recommended. Download limewire, you won't have to pay for anything, and download whatever songs you want for free.

yeah, i do thiss... just download the songs from limewire or where ever. then go to the folder and right click the music file.. hit open with... itunes. then its in your library and you can add it to your ipod from there.
