a friendship on the line

Question Posted Sunday December 4 2005, 10:00 pm

this might fill up a whole page but i need help! and i need it fast. ok. well i have a best friend. around my neighorbood she goes out with this boy. my parents don't like when any of my friends have boyfriends because i might turn into one of them and may end up"pregnant". one time my parents saw them talking together around my neighborhood. they are mad because i have a friend that is involved w/boyz. my best friend iz a very good person, but my brother is trying to tear us apart by telling lies to my parents. but as always, my parents listen to my bro. not me.so my parents don't want me and my best friends to be friends anymore. i'm 13yrs.old and in 8th grade. what am i suppose to do? i still want to be her friend, but at the same time i have to listen to my parents.
1. do i stop being her friend and listen to my parents?
2. do i continue to be her friend?
PLEASE HELP ME ON ALL OF THIS I'M SO CONFUSED!
oh yeah and my parents are going to put me in a charter school for 9th grade. ALL BECAUSE OF MY BROTHER(convinced them to put me in it becuz of my friend)please help me,FAST

First off you need to sit down and have a serious talk with your family. Parents and borther. Explain your side. Then tell your brother to leave the room and explain to your parents how your brother is hurting you. Tell all you told me here. Anyway in my opinon you should still be her friend. There is nothing wrong with having a friend that has a boyfriend. Make it clear to your parents that you do not intend to stop being friends with her. Lieing is bad. I hope I helped!
