I have a scroll mouse on my home PC. It isn't wireless or optical, just the plain old mouse. Today, it started not wanting to move the cursor to the sides, even if the mouse is moved. It will move the cursor up and down fine. I have tried cleaning the ball and rollers, but it doesn't appear to help. This mouse isn't very old and was working perfectly up until today. Does anyone have any suggestions of what may help?
xomegaroni answered Sunday December 4 2005, 11:05 am: did you try cleaning out the inside?? like take the ball out clean out the inside, clean the ball again & put it back in?? how about the surface its on. it could be your mouse pad er whatever you're using. try a new surface & if it still doesn't work well, then you'll have to go out & buy a new mouse. they aren't that expensive.
