Talking to a guy you like can be tough. But you have to get over the fear of rejection. You should talk to him and tell him how you feel. You never know, maybe he likes you too. Just say something along the lines of "I don't expect you to say anything back, or feel the way I do..but I like you. I just want you to know that." it puts pressure on the guy, but it gets the point across. If he tells you he likes you too, then you can just see what happens. Good luck!

Just start small.. by saying "hi" each day or whatever. As each week progresses, ask him how is day is going, or what his plans are for this weekend. Ask him for his email address or whatever. It's easier to talk on the computer than in person. You'll get to know him better. And soon you guys will be friends. And you'll be comfortable asking things such as "will you go out with me?" haha.
