TimmyTM answered Saturday November 26 2005, 5:04 am: Puberty in a nutshell. Most thing that happen in girls happen in boys, menstrual cycle aside. Body hair? That's an obvious one. Legs, arms, genitalia, underarms. I found my facial hair started with a dirt mustache, moved down to my chin, then my sideburns, and finally filled in as a "beard" as I aged past the age of twenty. I have an iota of chest hair. Hormones rage, emotions will be rampant and pubescents tend to sweat more.
What I remember from textbooks was the growth of pubic hair, followed by growth of the penis, then the testicles, then sort of dual growth. I'd hazard a guess that it tapers off by about 17.
Males hit their sexual "prime", in terms of desire and so-called ability to perform around 18. Females hit it around 30. Or so I hear.
There's some big shpeel about wet dreams (or "nocturnal emissions"), but it's completely overrated. I've never had a wet dreams. Some guys do. Some guys don't. Frankly, I know more GIRLS that have orgasmed in their sleep than guys. Yes, it's possible.
Where there's a filling out of the hips and natural inclination towards lower-body strength in females, there's a widening of the shoulders and corresponding upper body strength. I don't think my shoulders ever got that wide, yet desire trying to be as weak as possible, I always had an iota of upper body strength.
Ah, masturbation, I skipped over it. Most statistics are that males masturbate earlier, maybe between the ages of ten or thirteen. But honestly? I've run into a number of girls that started masturbating between seven to eleven. The middle range is a little thinner, with most girls finding their auto-eroticism around fifteen to eighteen. The rest will either think they can't and will resign themselves to it until they discover they can.
I remember reading once how sometimes guys get a dull ache in their nipples. It sounds strange, except I actually experienced it. I suppose I was fifteen or sixteen? *shrugs*
Hrm. This doesn't seem like much. If you have specific questions, I can drudge up more accurate answers.

Penis? Your question is assuming something. The sexual reactions boys have are the same ones that girls have. If ever you're around someone and you're wet, you can bet that if you were a boy, you would find yourself becoming erect. It just sort of happens.
Really, it doesn't "feel" like anything. Or maybe I'm just so used to it. Ask yourself what it feels like to be wet. It just... does. And if you're really aroused, there may be a dull ache.
Contrary to popular belief, we don't just get erections at the sight of a beautiful girl. If only. I was very disappointed when I first viewed pornography and I did not become aroused at all. Typically it's being AROUND a girl that will do it. But just any girl? Typically, it has to be a girl that's interested in us. Physical proximity and familiarity. Anticipation.
