water intake

Question Posted Wednesday November 23 2005, 9:09 am

my galaxy zetec has been letting in water in the front passenger footwell. this happens whenever it is raining and can be inches deep. Does any one have any ideas on the cause as it has been in and out of the garage and they cant find the cause. it has been suggested that it could be the pollen filter but where is it located as there is no reference to this in the manual. any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

could be the heater core. or you could be leaking rain water from your cabin air filters

is it overheating easily? do you have to put water in the radiator often. your water chamber,or water pumping system could be busted and causing the problem. i can't really tell withoutlooking but the for galaxy isn't that great of a car to begin with. they were back in the 60's
