if your 14 or 15 the private button wont show up, once you chnage your age go back to the account setting and there will be a private thing that you can change... if your age is not set as 15 or 14 there is no way for it to be private... if u really want it private set at 15 but in the about me put something like im 16 but i wanted my myspace private so i had to change my age well good luck! Sorry but i dont think there is any other way but to make you age 14 or 15...

go to account settings, edit my profile, basic info, then yuo would have to change your date of birth to 1990 or 1991 because it only sets myspaces private if you are 14 or 15 years old.
