hey I just pierced my labia myself and what do I need to do to keep it clean and I want my bellybutton pierced but my mom said no and dont even try for ways to get her to say yes because its not going to happen...should i do tht myself to could my brother sign the paper to get my belly done? 15/f thnx

No, he can't... and I don't think he should. I mean, I know EXACTLY how it feels to not get what you want and I hate it when I can't, but if you hide piercings, they end up getting infected and you'll need to go to a doctor but you won't want to tell your parents b/c you don't want them to find out, and you could get into serious trouble. So, better to wait three years til you're 18 (:-) instead of getting infections and trying to hide it and all that. Hope I helped.

You need to watch VERY closley for signs of infection. If you get any redness or swelling or pain...Get to a doctor immediatley.

Do not attempt to do your belly button. Both of these places are very slow to heal and very prone to major infections. Which is why mom is saying no.

Here is a site you need to read. It will tell you how long it will take to heal up, what to watch for as far as getting an infection, and how to clean it to help prevent infection.
