My mate gave me a hickie(love bite) for a laugh when we were drunk, how do i get it to go away really quickly?

A love bite is when the blood is drawn from the veins up into the skin surface by suction. Primarily it is a bruise and cold compresses and make up will help to heal it and to cover it over.
