Dude, am I getting a Dell? (serious question)

ok I'm getting a laptop soon and I need to know what kind to get. I want a Dell but I want something that's not EXTREMELY expensive. What's a good Dell to use that's fast downloading and has a good, long lasting battery? thanks for the help in advanced!
