a hard mats questoin about rockets and sweats =) =)

yello =)

pleas hlep me with this hard quetion for schoolwrok: (its duew tommorow)

jeremY yap have 16 sweats. he share them equally with his girlfriend and the doggy ated 2. meanwile a rocket flied past and stole jeremy socks how many sweats do he has left???

i cant do it but my wroking woz:::

16-2 + 120 = 14 +120 = 16.0 sweats

i got the rite anser but i think my wrok is wrong =( im gonna die if i dont get this rite =(

well, i'm not that great at math either, but from the question... the rocket flying past jeremy and stealing his socks has nothing to do with his sweats right? so based on that assumption, the working should be as follows:
no. of sweats after sharing with gf = 16/2 = 8
no. of sweats left after dog ate = 8 - 2 = 6
answer: 6 sweats
