gramma dying

Question Posted Monday November 7 2005, 5:59 pm

My gramma has terminal cancer, and she is dying. It's likely that she wont make it thru the week. Im not sure how to feel. I know that im sad, i was extremely close to her, like really i was. But, i only cry when i see her in the hospital bed, and when my aunts and uncles are talking to her. idk, i feel like i should be crying, and be really sad in school and stuff. This is weird but like, what r some things to think of to make me more sad? I know its weird and stupid, but if ya have any ideas, please help me<3

look, you dont need to be sad... it just comes naturally when you see a loved one sick... please remember that she wants you to be happy and not trying to be sad!

If you want to be sad, think about not seeing her anymore. Think about her 6 feet under, cold and dead. Think about how she won't suffer anymore. Think about the family who will miss her. Think about your best friend (gramma) and how you won't be able to spend time with her. OMG THIS IS SOO SAD :'(

Hey hun!
I'm so sorry! That is horrible! When my grandpa died I was the same way, because I was the only person in my family who didn't even cry. I didn't even feel sad or anything. People usually try not to be sad when a close person dies, because it hurts them even more. They just want to surround themselves with positive things, and people that really make them happy. I think you should just occupy yourself with some other things to do, so that your not sad at all. You don't have to feel sad, or actually be crying. There are some people who like to show their emotions, and some people who don't. Your probably one of those people that doesn't like to show their emotions. So what I'm saying is you don't have to feel sad, or be crying. If I were you, I would just go shopping, hang out with really close friends, or just talk to a family member about this. There's nothing you can really think of to make you feel sad. I hope I helped you out hun! If not, I'm really sorry. Luv ya! If you have anymore questions, just leave them in my inbox. I'm sorry about your grandma! <3 KiMmY
