You can get up early in the morning and walk a mile or a few blocks before school, a walk after school, in between commercials you can do push ups, crunches, pilates and other exercises. You can eat fruits and veggies TAKE PROTEIN AND FIBER tablets. There's a lot you can do! If you have lunch outside, you can exercise. in gym you can do a few push ups. In the bathroom you can exercise. It doesn't take hours, just 30 or 50 sit ups! 5-20 minutes a day!

Some things to do every day:
Eat a healthy breakfast, such as fruit salad.
Eat a healthy lunch, such as a turkey sandwhich on WHEAT bread.
Eat a healthy lunch such as chicken, potatoes, and corn.
Those are just examples BUTTT:
Jog around your neighborhood.
Do 30-50 crunches. Every crunch burns 1-2 calories.
Do 25 sit-ups.
Stretch for 10 minutes.
Drink ONLY water, skim milk, or juice.
Do 5 push-ups at a time.
Cut back on ALL junk food or pop. It is okay to allow yourself a little bit, only in controled portions, though. If you eat a lot of junk food/pop, you should see a lot of difference in the first 1-2 weeks.
WATER, WATER, WATER! The more water you drink, the more you lose.
Cut back on salty foods, they make you retain water.
Participate more in P.E., or sports activities. It does wonders, really.
If you are used to consuming 2000 calories a day, make it 1,800. A pound of fat is around 3,400 calories.
WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!!!

Good luck!!! IM me at x0 TaSha o8 for more info. Or MSN Tashamohler@hotmail.com. Or e-mail TashaMohler@hotmail.com

Mackenzie answered Monday November 7 2005, 3:33 pm:
Well, we'll start out with the obvious: exercise.
A few good activities that can simply assist in porportioning the body in it's ENTIRTY would be anything that gets the blood circulation goin', such as: jogging, jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking, and bicycle riding. Also, if you have access to a heated pool, water aerobics work like a charm!!

And if you'd like to target your tummie specifically, try doing a couple hundred sit ups or crunches. I know, I know, I know.. "a couple hundred' SEEMS like a lot, but if you break it up into sessions, it's not that difficult, really.

For directions on doing a correct crunch, check out:

To tone your butt and thighs, do leg lifts. To do these, stand up straight, and slowly move your leg -ONLY YOUR LEG- backwards. Like, say you're going to kick something, but kick BARKWARDS, and DON'T BEND YOUR KNEES!! Make sense???

To tone your arms, take two dum bells [whatever weight works for you]. Put one in each arm, and stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bring the dum bells up to your chest with your elbows folded out [like Tarzan pounding his chest-sort of motion, ya know?] Then at a MEDIUM speed... extend your arms out to the side, and slowly bring them back in. You can do two at a time to help balance the strength build up and toning, or do one at a time if it's easier. THIS DOES CUH-RRRRAZZIIEEEEEEE AMOUNTS OF MIRCALE!!!!!!!!!! If you do it for at least 20 minutes a day you'll see a GIGANTIC difference in a week, TOPS. I do them all the time; it's fun!!

Also, providing you cut out the EXTREMELY unhealthy foods, such as WHITE bread [substitute it with wheat], cake products, ice cream, hamburgers, and soda... [if you're used to consuming A LOT of it] you can see a significant amount of weight loss after the first two weeks, alone.

You can find lists of healthy foods at:

As you probably already know, it's best to eat several small portions a day; but this does not mean to "starve" yourself. Say, have an apple and a piece of cheese, two hours later have a few crakers, and an hour later have one piece of wheat toast, and so on and so forth, ya know??? And those are just some snack ideas. When it comes to solid meals, you don't really have to cut out much. Just take in moderation. Little intakes of food like that gives your body time to digest it properly. You see how that's better than eating one or two huge meals a day?? Because then it would take too long to catch up, and your bodyy will not be able to burn the calories quickly enough; so it just quits, adding body fat.

Of course you must realize that weight loss takes time. I can't really say how long it will take; I suppose that differs from person to person. It really just depends on how much weight you're looking to shed. I'd say you could lose 10 to 20 pounds within the first month; that's very possible (seeing as how a good portion of that 10-20 pounds will be water weight).

You just have to stay committed, and strive to keep up the drive. Some tips: just try to keep yourself busy, and sleep as often as possible. Those things keep your mind off of food.
Sure it seems like you're giving up so much, but think about what you will be gaining if you feel better about yourself?? That's the best damned grand prize you'll EVER find.

Goodluck to you! Feel free to get ahold of me personally if you'd like any other information or opinions! I'd be happie to help where I can! :D

actually, one of the best and fastest ways to lose weight is "weight watchers". just go to weightwatchers.com or something. and dont think going to weight watchers means you're fat or anything, because many people i know who just wanted to improve themselves a little have gone to weight watchers. its a great thing, and doesn't involve changing your diet at all!!!

Working out for 20 minutes to an hour 3-5 times a week whether it's running, doing crunches, or generally moving around continuously and eating healthier (cutting back on junk food and unnecessary snacks) generally helps people lose weight. Eating a light breakfast is also important, because it helps the metabolism to stabilize rather than drop down because you aren't eating for long periods of time.

lyNNie240 answered Sunday November 6 2005, 9:52 pm:
well the first thing you can do is concentrate on eating and drinking better. If you like fast food, go for a salad and water or milk. Second, every night before you go to bed, do at least 20 crunches. It only takes about a minute, and if you're consistent, soon you'll see results. also, (im guilty of this as well.) Dont eat if youre bored, just if youre hungry. Well good luck!! hope i helped! <3

orphans answered Sunday November 6 2005, 9:17 pm:
there's a lot of ways you can lose wait, but you have to keep up with it everyday, or it won't work.

you can go on a diet, like just eat as healthy as you can. try not eating any snacks for a while.

but whatever you do, make sure that you dont go like dislexic or anything by not eating anything, because that just makes everything worse, and it's even worse for your health!

you can also just work out everday. it won't take that long. just do as many push ups and sit ups as you can, and keep pushing yourself to do more and more.

listen to some music while you do it, so it'll relax you sort of. at first, you might not be able to do so many pushups and situps, but after a while once you get used to doing them and stuff, you'll be able to do a lot.

you'll probably get really sore for a few days because you might not be used to working out and stuff, but after a few days, it'll be no problem.

losing wait takes some time, so you need to be patient, and don't just expect to lose a lot of weight in one day. =P

.:hope i helped:.
