14/f is this weird?

so yeah when my boyfriend and i kiss...i don't get feel that weird sensation or anything... it happened with my ex gf and I..she was the only one that made me shiver...get goosebumps and those weird sensations when she touched my lips or when her fingers brushed against my arms. i dunno. i don't get it with my boyfriend. i do care about him but... i was told that i probably don't like him because my body isnt reacting to him or whatever? is this weird, normal, ...what?

Answer: Each relationship you experience will not be the same, so don't expect the same exact feelings. It is perfectly normal to feel something with one person and not another. One relationship will not be a carbon copy of another!


However, since your ex was a girl, maybe it's just that you are not physically attracted to boys. Maybe that's why you are not getting a physical response. Ask yourself if you are physically attracted to him, or just care about him as a person. If you feel no physical attraction to him, it would be best to remain friends instead of having to fake your emotions.


If you are physically attracted to him, here is something else to consider. The further you go with someone sexually, the less responsive your body may be to the little things. So maybe it's just that the little things don't excite you as much as they used to.


You are only 14; you still have plenty of time to explore your sexuality and figure out what makes you tick. Don't sweat it.
