This situation happened to me, too. Of course it would be different because guys would react to this differently than girls would. What I did to get through to my friend was instead of waiting for him to call me, I called him and made plans with him. We kept hanging out and eventually the two broke up. Just remind her that you will always be there for her because you are her friend. Good luck.
