Room on my back??

Question Posted Wednesday October 26 2005, 6:32 pm

What does it mean when bands/singers in their songs say that there is no room left oh thier backs? I've heard it in a few songs and never got what it meant.

It means they can't handle anymore stress or issues...that they are going to go mental if anything else happens.

I guess they're saying that they are carrying the world on their shoulders, much like the mythical Atlas, and they can't carry anything else. Mostly they mean that they are stressed out.
