bored and avoiding homework...
does anyone think that people who are in charge of saying whats good enough to be on the radio and what isnt, don't play certain music because its poetic?
example:
daphne loves derby.
lyrics are really poetic rather than lyrical.
any thoughs? haha

some bands just dont want to be on the radio. but in a case like this, people should decide what can be played and what cant.

I'm not sure, i've thought about that also. I think it's just based on money and income actually...notice how popular music artists' songs play over and over again? They suck...but the producers get more money than they would from playing a more indie band like Daphne Loves Derby.

I agree. Some songs are more poetic then lyrical and sometimes they are more lyrical than poetic. Its really depends on the person. Most radio stations play the songs that are rated the best bye the people.

No, they decide it based on how much money its going to make the record label, the radio station, and all the other corporate people out there. If poetic made money then sure it would be on there.
