I have been working out like a lot latley, like on average an hour of cardio everyother day along with kickboxing and other things. I just started my period and I feel and look like I havnt done anything, could this be a result of my period?
yourperfectdisaster answered Monday October 17 2005, 9:04 pm: It could possibly because of bloating from your period. That won't last though. It's good that you're exercising a lot. Keep it up, and just give it time. Eventually, you'll notice change and you'll be happy you stuck with the exercising. And just remember:: MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT. So weighing yourself is not going to be helpful, because you could gain muscle instead of fat, and that will make you gain weight, but it's GOOD weight. A good idea to measure changes is measuring your waist. See how many inches it is to start with, and every now and then, keep checking it. Here, you will notice a change because you'll be losing inches =) [ yourperfectdisaster's advice column | Ask yourperfectdisaster A Question ]
