Does this sound convincing?
I'm entering a modeling search. I need some opinion, does this paper sound convicing? Tell me if its good or bad or what its missing or what it needs please.
Why should I be a Seventeen Reader Model? There are so many reasons but I’ll tell a few. Well, let me just introduce myself before I begin.
My name is Rashidat but everyone calls me Rashida. I recently turned 13. I’m in the 8th grade at the Tenney Grammar School in Methuen. I am African American and half Nigerian. I love playing basketball, expressing my self in creative ways like poetry and being the wild and crazy me! I think I should be the Seventeen Reader Model because I have a beautiful and unique look, I’d be a fabulous role model to people of all ages and I am a hard worker.
My look is very unique. I’ve seen the models that are signed with Ford on the site and I think none of them have a look as different and unique as mine. I am 5 feet 11 inches, skinny, I have dark brown/black hair and I have gorgeous brown skin. My eyes are dark brown, small and spread apart which brings a diverse look to my face. I have long tremendous toned arms and my shoulders aren’t to broad or small. My legs are lengthy and have a stunning and different look and shape. I have a toned body from playing sport and being active everyday. My look has the potential to bring attention and a different style to this industry.
I would make a wonderful role model for people of all ages. I am very kind and always bring the best out of everyone. I am smart, loving, and love to talk. I try to think positive and do everything the best I can. I could show girls many things like for example how to love themselves for who they are. I’m a typical teenage girl that knows how other people my age may feel and I’d know exactly how to help girls with problems. I give great advice and I know how to talk to people. These qualities can help girls relate to me and look up to me for being a great person.
Another reason that would make me the perfect Seventeen Reader Model is the fact that I’m a hard worker. I work hard in everything I do. I stride for the best and I never give up without at least trying. I’m very committed and I try to succeed in things I’m interested in doing or love to do, which causes me to never be known as a quitter.
Last thing I would like to tell you that would make me fantastic for this prize is that I’d love to be a model. I dream big and currently this is my dream I want to be the girl in beautiful pictures expressing her emotion with a simple pose. I'd love to be on the runway marching down with confidence. I want to be the girl everyone wants to meet because how much she sticks out and how different she is. And when they meet me they find out I'm no different from them.
After reading this I hope you got an idea of who I am. If I was the Seventeen Reader Model I would be a great addition to Ford Models. If you choose me for this wonderful prize I would do nothing but make things better. I may not have experience in modeling but I can strike a pose, I’m pretty photogenic and I can even do runway modeling. I can walk in heels and I’m willing to wear or try anything. I’d not only take beautiful pictures, I’d help girls by being a good role model. I am a beautiful and unique looking girl, a terrific role model and a hard worker which would make the perfect Seventeen Reader Model.

Ok.. i do modeling too and i`m also 13. That's pretty good.. but you should maybe take out some "gorgeous and besutiful's" whenever your describing yourself. Models are suppose to be confident, and you don't want to come off as cocky. And also.. models don't get picked becuase they are pretty. (even tho it helps) You should say why you want to be a model and say stuff about how you love fashion and make-up and everything, insted of just saying how pretty you are. good job and good luck.. xo court
